Pride Takes Over Downtown Tempe On June 7

Downtown Tempe's annual Pride Party is back and ready to celebrate love, inclusivity, and community. Happening Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 7 PM to 11 PM at CenterPoint Plaza, this free and inclusive event welcomes the LGBTQ+ community and allies for a night packed with dancing, drag, music, and memorable moments.

The event will be hosted by Rita DeMornay (Miss Phoenix Pride 2025) and Heli Valdez (Mr. Phoenix Pride 2025), two beloved members of the LGBTQ+ community who will also deliver a special drag performance during the evening. At the heart of the evening is the high-energy Silent Disco presented by Satyr Entertainment, featuring three DJs: DJ Frietz (@djfrietz), Kaleodic (@kaleryan), and DJ Robot5000 (@djrobot5000). Attendees can grab headphones, choose their favorite channel, and move to the beat under the glow of colorful lights.
Attendees can explore a market featuring local businesses, many of which are queer-owned, and capture the moment at the free 360 photo booth by PixDMe. One crowd favorite is making a return — rainbow roses, generously donated by Arizona Flower Market, will be handed out to attendees to wave, wear, or give as they celebrate Pride on the dance floor.
Food and Beverage Options
Keep the energy going with drinks from two on-site bars. One will be serving Corona Premier, Pacifico, canned Fresca cocktails, and Nomadica wines. The other, hosted by Downtown Tempe's own Pedal Haus Brewery, will feature three of their signature draft brews alongside the same canned selections. Grab a bite from our on-site vendors offering cold treats and small bites, and don't forget to explore even more dining options at our downtown restaurants before or after the event to show some local love.
This year, we will be hosting a raffle benefiting the Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce Foundation, with proceeds going toward support for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs. Prizes include a one-night stay at the Canopy Hotel and two tickets to Life of Pi at ASU Gammage. Tickets will be available for purchase at the info booth during the event.
The Official Pride After Party
When the party wraps at 11 PM, the celebration continues at the Official Pride After-Party at Alibi Rooftop Lounge at the Canopy Hotel. Expect DJ sets, drink specials, and skyline views until 2am. This 21+ event will be free, but a digital RSVP is required. The Canopy Hotel will also offer a discounted room rate for guests staying on the night of the event — and for those who book a stay, keep an eye out for details on a Drag Brunch happening Sunday morning, June 8.
